This site is operated by Coria Inc. (United States), the data controller responsible for how your information is processed. The transport service itself is provided by AKCC Taxi and Tours - Antonio De Agrela, based in Calheta, Madeira - who receives your booking details to fulfil the trip. We collect only what is needed to run the booking service and, with your consent, anonymous statistics about how the site is used.
If you accept, the site loads two third-party scripts: Matomo Cloud (EU region) which counts page visits with IP addresses anonymised and no advertising trackers, and Google Maps Places which powers the address type-ahead in the booking forms. You can revoke at any time via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer. If you reject, neither script ever loads - analytics is disabled and the address fields fall back to plain text input.
Information you enter into the booking form (name, phone, email, trip details) is stored in our database and shared with our payment processor (SumUp), our calendar provider (Google Calendar), and our messaging providers (Twilio for WhatsApp, Mailchimp Transactional for email) strictly to process and confirm your booking. It is not sold or shared for marketing.
If you opt in to sunset alerts, we store the email (always) and phone number (only if you provide one) you sign up with, your visit window (start and end dates), the viewpoints you picked, and your chosen quality threshold. We use this only to send the morning-before notification we promised. Every alert message carries a one-click unsubscribe link that immediately stops further sends. Records are marked expired seven days after your visit window ends and hard-deleted thirty days after; the cron job that runs the alerts also handles this cleanup automatically. We never sell, rent, or share this data; the only third parties that ever see it are our email provider (Mailchimp Transactional) and, when you provide a phone, our SMS provider (Twilio).
